How do I create an account?
Download Rabta from the App Store and sign up using your email, Google account, or Apple ID. You'll be guided through setting up your profile with photos and preferences.
How does matching work?
When you browse profiles, you can express interest by liking someone. If they like you back, it's a match and you can start chatting. You can also send a message request with a personal note.
Do I need to verify my identity?
No. Your profile goes live as soon as you finish sign-up. Phone verification is offered at sign-up and can be skipped. In a few cases, for example when an account is under review, we may ask for a selfie.
Can I blur my photos?
Yes. Turn on photo blur in Edit profile and your photos appear blurred to other members. In Settings you can also choose who sees your profile: everyone, only your matches, or only people you have liked.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile, then Settings, then Leave Rabta, and choose Delete permanently. Full steps are on our delete account page.
Is my location shared with other users?
We only show the approximate distance between you and other users (e.g., "5 km away"). Your exact location or coordinates are never shared with anyone.
How do I report someone?
You can report a user from their profile by tapping the menu icon and selecting "Report". Our team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action to keep the community safe.
How many active chats can I have?
You can have up to 5 active conversations at a time. This encourages meaningful connections rather than juggling too many conversations at once.
